From the appearance point of view, the head of the male buckle is relatively smooth, and the internal space is larger; the buckle of the female buckle has a certain curvature, which can strengthen the tightness after buckling, but the space for pressing is smaller. The male buckle in the left picture is double-block, and the length of the webbing can be adjusted after putting on the webbing. The female buckle is a single block, which is generally fixed in a certain place and cannot be adjusted.

According to different specifications, the usefulness is also different. This is generally used on the side straps of the backpack. The female buckle is fixed on the side of the bag, and the male buckle adjusts the length of the webbing. As for the width of 38MM, it is generally used on the belt.

The female buckle and male buckle of the buckle on the left can be adjusted. There are braces on the male buckle (continuous feet), so it has more external elasticity. The greater the strength, the stronger after being buckled. Generally, high-quality mountaineering bags use male buckles with internal support. Generally used on belts (50MM, 38MM).
